Week 29 – Take a different view

I was getting frustrated this week, because I feel I am being asked to do things that are not necessary. The things that are annoying me are things I don’t like doing, which means my brain automatically categorises them as “not important”. Of course, this is not how my clients view things, because from their perspective, what they are asking for is important and valuable.

How do I change my view? Unless I can start to see the value in what I am doing I will continue to feel irritated, which makes me stressed, which leads to poor quality work, which leads to more negativity as I feel angry at my mistakes!

Here is a quick technique for reversing how I perceive unnecessary and irritating work, to see it in a more positive light:
